HISTORICAL PLACES IN PAKISTAN

Pakistan has many Historical Places.Here is the List of Historical Places in Pakistan and Historical Buildings.If you are a Tourist  then you must visit these places.There are so many Historical Building and places in Pakistan to visits.
People come from other countries to visit that places and enjoy themselves.Tourism is a good activity in order to gain knowledge and learn the living pattern of other people and also to learn the way and visits their history and backgrounds.
It also become a line of connection between two countries to visit each other Historical Places as well as culture

1 – Bab-e-Pakistan:


The Bab-e-Pakistan is a national monument in Lahore, Pakistan which is being built on the site of one of the major refugee camps which operated in the aftermath of Partition of India.The monument is located in Lahore and the plan was originally conceived under the military regime of Zia-UL-Haq. Subsequent political tussles couldn’t materialize its construction in time and the project is still in process at the moment....

2 – Minar-e-Pakistan (Minaret of Pakistan):

Minar-e-Pakistan is a public monument located in Iqbal Park in Lahore, Pakistan. The tower was constructed during the 1960s on the site where, on 23 March 1940, the All-India Muslim League passed the Lahore Resolution, the first official call for a separate homeland for the Muslims living in the South Asia, in accordance with the two nation theory...

3– Lahore Fort:



The Lahore Fort, locally referred to as Shahi Qila is citadel of the city of Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. It is located in the northwestern corner of the Walled City of Lahore. The trapezoidal composition is spread over 20 hectares..


4– Makli Graveyard:


Makli Hill or Graveyard is one of the largest necropolises in the world, with a diameter of approximately 8 km. It lies approx. 98 km east of Karachi and is the burial place of some 125,000 local rulers, Sufi saints and others.The major attractions of the site are the unique engraved inscriptions on the graves. It is one of the most stunning archaeological sites in Pakistan, covering an area of approximately 15 square kilometers.


5–  Mohenjo daro:


Mohenjo daro is an archeological site in the province of Sindh, Pakistan. Built around 2600 BCE, it was one of the largest settlements of the ancient Indus Valley Civilization, and one of the world’s earliest major urban settlements, contemporaneous with the civilizations of ancient Egypt.

SAWAT VALLEY 

Swat  is a river valley and an administrative district in the Khyber pakhtunkahwa Province of Pakistan
With high mountains, green meadows, and clear lakes, it is a place of great natural beauty and is popular with tourists. Queen Elizabeth II during her visit to the The Yusafzai state of Swat called it "the Switzerland of the east.

RAMA valley

Rama Valley is near Astor of Gilgit Baltistan, Pakistan, location is surrounded by beautiful trees of pine, cedar, fir and juniper, Valley is covered by snow for seven to eight months in year and in summer it becomes lush green and looks like paradise on the earth. It is 3300 above the sea level.



                                                            KALASH VALLEY

The Kalasha Valleys are valleys in Chitral District  in northern Pakistan. They are inhabited by the Kalash people, who have customs and language which are quite different from their neighbours, and historically have had a different religion. 

SIACHEN GLACIER

"Sia" in the Balti language refers to the rose family plant widely dispersed in the region. "Chun" references any object found in abundance. Thus the name Siachen refers to a land with an abundance of roses. The naming of the glacier itself, or at least its currency, is attributed to Tom Longstaff


NANGA PARBAT

Nanga Parbat  is the ninth highest mountain in the world .It is located in the Gilgit-Baltistan region of the Pakistan.
